This Cookie Policy explains how Rezvion (“Rezvion,” “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on rezvion.nl, the Rezvion dashboard and POS, and on the online ordering storefronts we host on behalf of our restaurant customers (together, the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy and is published in line with Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet and the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — for example your language, login state, or the contents of your basket. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, web beacons, and pixels; in this Policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
2. Categories of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are essential for the Service to work and cannot be switched off. Typical examples include:
- Session and authentication cookies that keep you logged in.
- CSRF tokens that protect form submissions.
- Cookies that remember your cookie preferences themselves.
- Storefront basket and checkout state.
- Load‑balancing and security cookies set by Cloudflare.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and the “strictly necessary” exemption to the consent requirement under Article 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet. No prior consent is required.
2.2 Functional
Functional cookies remember choices that improve your experience but are not strictly necessary — for example UI theme, locale, recently viewed restaurants, or remembered KDS station preferences. Set only with your consent.
2.3 Analytics
Analytics cookies help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate. We aim to configure analytics in a privacy‑respecting way (IP truncation, no cross‑site tracking, EU‑only servers where possible) and load them only after consent. Where we use a self-hosted or first-party analytics tool that meets the AP’s guidance for cookie‑less analytics, we may load it without prior consent — we will clearly state this in the cookie banner.
2.4 Marketing and remarketing
Marketing cookies may be set on the rezvion.nl marketing site to measure campaign effectiveness and deliver relevant ads on third‑party platforms (e.g. Meta, Google, LinkedIn). These run only with your explicit consent and can be disabled at any time via the cookie banner.
2.5 Third‑party cookies on storefronts
Online ordering storefronts hosted by Rezvion may include cookies set by integrated services such as Adyen (payment fraud prevention), HubRise (delivery aggregation), or analytics tools the restaurant chooses to enable. The restaurant is the data controller for those cookies; their own cookie notice and banner govern.
3. Cookies we currently set on rezvion.nl
The following table summarises the cookies set on this marketing site. The list is reviewed at every release and updated as needed.
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
rezvion_session | Rezvion (first‑party) | Strictly necessary | Maintains your authenticated session on the dashboard | Session |
rezvion_csrf | Rezvion (first‑party) | Strictly necessary | CSRF protection on forms | Session |
rezvion_cookie_consent | Rezvion (first‑party) | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie preferences | 12 months |
NEXT_LOCALE | Rezvion (first‑party) | Functional | Remembers language choice (NL/EN) | 12 months |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Bot mitigation and rate-limiting | 30 minutes / 30 days |
_ga, _ga_* | Google (Analytics) | Analytics (consent) | Aggregate site usage measurement, IP truncated | 13 months |
_fbp | Meta | Marketing (consent) | Conversion measurement for Meta Ads campaigns | 3 months |
li_at, bcookie | Marketing (consent) | Conversion measurement for LinkedIn campaigns | 2 years |
We never set marketing or analytics cookies before you have given consent through the banner. If a third party that we have integrated sets additional cookies, we update this table at the next release.
4. How long cookies stay on your device
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain for a defined period — never longer than 13 months in line with the recommendation of European data‑protection authorities, after which we ask for fresh consent.
5. Managing your preferences
- Cookie banner. When you first visit rezvion.nl, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or customise per category. The “reject all” button is presented with equal prominence to “accept all”, in line with EDPB Guidelines 03/2022.
- Browser controls. You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Disabling strictly‑necessary cookies will break parts of the Service (for example sign‑in).
- Withdraw consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by re‑opening the cookie banner from the “Cookie preferences” link in the page footer.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid signal to refuse non‑essential cookies and reflect that choice in your preferences. We do not currently respond to legacy Do Not Track (DNT) signals because no consistent industry standard for DNT has been established.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. The cookie inventory in §3 is a living document and is reviewed at each Service release.
